Navigating Life Transitions
You’re overwhelmed, exhausted and depleted; “balance” sounds like a foreign concept.
You feel up 'n down and all around; your emotions are running the show.
You feel a subtle shaking of the ground beneath you,
a queasiness and uncertainty.
Has life thrown you a curve?
Major transitions can throw you off balance, whether they’re planned, “positive” changes or those that are quite unwanted. Life transitions can range from causing you to feel intense joy as well as debilitating pain or disillusionment and emptiness. These are times when it can be tempting to disconnect or seek refuge in numbing activities and distractions. My focus is on helping you lean in to your feelings and be present during these transitions, making sense of these challenges and integrating the changes into a new way of being.
How Therapy can help you navigate life transitions
Therapy can provide you with a safe space to process and explore the meaning of your transitions, to help you remain present, make sense of your experiences, and learn how to integrate this new knowledge into an improved way of being.
