Cultivating Healthy Relationships

You desire a passionate, loving relationship but keep running into the same obstacles.

You yearn for deeper connection and intimacy.

Fear of rejection causes you to reject parts of yourself.

Growth & Therapy In Relationships

I have extensive experience helping clients navigate challenging relationships and move out of a deprivation mindset into a more positive frame of mind.   All relationships can be vehicles for profound understanding and change; how we operate in a relationship often provides a deeper reflection of our own internal struggles.  I love working with untraditional relationships, helping you to create a dynamic that actually works for you rather than trying to fit yourself to a particular mold.

How I Can Help You Cultivate Healthy Relationships

My first step is to help you understand your internal struggles, illuminate the unconscious messages you communicate to yourself, and explore how you feel about yourself.  Together we will explore your attachment and relationship history, and I'll provide you space to reflect upon your personal patterns and experiences.

In order to develop a cohesive and compassionate narrative about yourself, I'll help you examine and question the storylines you’ve created about yourself.  Together we'll explore the highs and lows of your love and attachment history, make meaning of each of those experiences, and uncover blocks that have prevented you from finding-- and keeping -- love.

Some issues we might explore include:

  • Codependency

  • Dating

  • How to be dedicated to a relationship without losing yourself

  • Commitment blocks

  • polyamorous & open relationships

  • gender identity and changes in sexual preference

  • Attachment issues, exploring capacity to trust

  • Emotional Regulation

  • sexuality, sexual trauma, pain

  • How to develop a practice of mindfulness

  • Self-esteem

  • Developing self compassion

  • Evaluation of core beliefs and the messages you communicate to yourself

  • Impediments to being present
